"These mini desk clocks are made from scraps of rosewood and birch. They are 6" long and 2" high."

 

 

 

 

 

"Here are some projects to make from scraps. Candle holder, lazy Susan, three clocks."

 

 

 


 

 

 

"This is a hall entry seat and storage. It stores hats and gloves and scarves in the top and boots and shoes on the bottom. It is made of pine and measures 44" long X 19" high X 16" deep. It's stained light oak with 3 coats of poly."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This paper plate holder is made of walnut but can be made from any scraps of wood. It is 10 1/2" by  6" high. It has a couple of coats of poly."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This wooden lock is only 3/8" thick a challenge, but worth it! The front and back are !/8" walnut and The middle is1/8 maple."

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This push button lock is made of oak body and maple shackle, The oak is stained walnut."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"I made this from a plan from Rockler and it's 22" high by 16" long. It's made of poplar and has 2 coats of poly."

 

 

 

 

 

"Here is a bank I made from a plan from Rockler. It is made from Cherry and walnut with 3 coats of poly."

 

 

 

 

"This is a scriber I made of cherry with walnut inserts."

"Here is a weather station that I made. It's 6" high and 6 " long 3" wide. When the weather is sunny the lady is out and when  the weather is cloudy the man is out. It is made from black walnut and has 5 coats of liquid antique wax." 

 

 

 

 

 

"Each lock is about 5" x 7" and all are working!"

 

 

 

 

 

"This lock is a wooden working lock and is made of pine glued boards. The body of the lock is 3 1/2"H x 4 1/2"w x 2" deep. With the shackle, it is 9" high."

 

 

 

 

"The box is 15" x 8" x 4" and is made from poplar and cherry,"

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This is a desk organizer I made from poplar and birch plywood,the stain is ipswitch with 2 coats of poly."

 

 

 

 

 

"I made this shaker style desk out of red oak, and the legs are pine. It was not a very hard project, but fun."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This step stool was made from some old pine I had and is all doweled and glued: not one nail or screw."

 

 

 

 

 

"The base is three half inch oak pieces laminated. The leaves are cut as thin as my table saw will cut, out of scrap pieces which are soaked in water, formed, dried and spray painted."

 

 

 

 

 

"This project is called swoopy coupe, a fun project."

 

 

 

 

"This all purpose table can be used as a book/magazine or nite stand.It is about 24" high,16" wide 14" deep at the bottom and a 12x19" top. My friends liked it so well I ended up making 8 of them."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This breadbox is made of cherry & my wife loves it."

 

 

 

 

 

 

"This keepsake box is 9" long, 6" wide and 4 1/2" high. It is made of poplar sides and 1/4" oak top and bottom. The design is made of cedar."

 

 

 

 

 

"This is a jelly cabinet that's 30" high and 15" square. The wood is 3/4" pine for the sides, door frame and top. The shelves are 1/2" pine (dadoed) and the door is mortise and tenon with a 1/4" plywood insert. The back is also 1/4" plywood and is recessed 1/4".

"I used glue and screws and the finish is early American with 2 coats polyurethane gloss finish. The design and dimensions are mine, so I have no plan which I think is good, because you can make this any size to fit your needs."

 

 

 

 

"This plane was made from a plan in Wood Magazine. It is 6" long and 2 1/2" wide and is made of maple inside and woth oak sides. It is finshed with two coats of poly."                                                           

 

 

 

 

"This Big Bird is made of poplar and cherry it stands 14" tall and is 12" long. It opens on top to a little box. The plan was from Wood Magazine."

 

 

 

"This candy toad is 12 x 12 and made from cherry and poplar - the tongue comes out when you open it and the legs move when you push it."

 

 

 

 

 

"This is from Woodworkers Journal. Here is my latest project. It is a cheese server and is 11" x 8". It depicts hills, sea and the moon."
